Every year, we celebrate
Customer Service Week during the first full week of October. Before planning any events, activities, or games, our Spirit Team always creates a theme. A theme ties all your activities together and creates a memorable appreciation event for your team.
We’ve had some truly great Customer Service Week themes in the past, and we’ve made some of our favorites into recognition themes you can use in your organization, too.
Roll out the red carpet – literally! –and give your team the star treatment for the entire week. Create a swag bag, just like the ones celebrities receive at parties and events, with microwave popcorn, movie candy, and a
Twist Top Tumbler for their favorite movie-watching beverage. Host your own award ceremony and create certificates for each team member with a unique award verse.

2. You are a Star
Your front line employees are the stars of your show, so let them know it with this Customer Service Week theme. Create VIP passes with an ID card maker and give each employee a
colorful themed lanyard to display their pass all week. Let employees know you appreciate their star power by writing them a personal note in a
Pocket Praise mini note card.
Customer Service Week themes should be fun! Lighten up a little during your celebration and have a lot of laughs with your team. Put one of these silly
talking pens on a few desks throughout the office or give employees a
You Rock rock. Play mad gabs and charades to keep the laughs rolling all week! With this theme, your team will have fun, improve camaraderie, and everyone will experience the health benefits of laughter!

When it comes to Customer Service Week themes, none is as straight forward and effective as this one! Introduce
peer-to-peer Shout Outs and get the entire team involved in celebrating their customer service awesomeness. At the end of the week, have a “rock concert” where you read the Shout Outs from the week and cheer for the great performances.
Customer Service Week themes are only as memorable as their presentation. This year give customer service awards to outstanding team members at a public award ceremony. Engrave the Beyond the Call story on a
glass trophy or present a
desktop clock. Make a memorable award that will motivate the entire team with our
Award Presentation Guide.
