Grand Rapids Recognition Roundtable
The Grand Rapids Recognition Roundtable is a forum for recognition practitioners and human resource professionals to advance their knowledge and skills of employee recognition through networking and discussion, in order to improve employee engagement, retention, and performance in West Michigan workplaces.
|
The Grand Rapids Recognition Roundtable, a local professional development forum, was started in 1999 by past Baudville, Inc. President and CEO Debra Sikanas. The forum served as a resource for recognition professionals who were unable to attend national conferences, yet desired to improve their organizations' recognition practices. The information and sharing that resulted proved to be an invaluable learning opportunity for the attendees.
In October 2007, the group re-formed after a two year lapse. Meetings are held on a quarterly schedule and focus discussions on a specific recognition topic. Often, the roundtable is hosted by a participating member, which allows the group the opportunity to experience different recognition culture first-hand.
If you are interested in learning more or participating in the Grand Rapids Recognition Roundtable, please contact the Baudville
