Recycled products made in USA make work an eco-friendly place
Appreciation goes green with contemporary designs on recycled products
January 31, 2009
Grand Rapids, MICH. – Baudville Inc., a leading provider of employee recognition and award products, announced the release of a new product line made entirely of recycled products, recyclable products and products made in USA. The new product line, "g-thanks," provides eco-friendly rewards for an office implementing a recycling initiative, rewarding green behavior or just trying to be more eco-friendly.
The g-thanks recycled products are unique from other recycled products in the recognition industry because they are all made in USA. Many other companies advertise recycled products, but the products are often manufactured overseas. The production and transportation of the product offset the benefit of the recycled products.
"We had strict environmental criteria in place as we developed this product line," said Kristy Sherlund, Baudville Vice President of Product Development. The products in the g-thanks thank you gift collection are all made in USA, recycled, recyclable or consumable, and designed with the environment in mind.
Products featured in the made in USA g-thanks line:
- Seed tin that grows organic wheat grass at your cubicle
- Eco-Tumbler travel mug made from PolyLactic Acid (PLA), a material made from corn starch with the look and feel of petroleum-based plastic
- Wood postcards made from eco-friendly birch wood
- Organic green tea packaged inside a biodegradable whole leaf pouch
"We set out to provide our customers with made in USA recycled products that can be used as part of an existing recognition programs or as a stylish thank you gift for a friend," Sherlund said. "We brought a contemporary style to these recycled products, which have made them our most popular new product line so far this year."
