In my most recent management meeting, I shared six different tokens with the 18 supervisor's in attendance and asked them to share the Cheerful Change with their employees. Since that meeting, the tokens are spreading around our department and everyone is enjoying getting and giving these cool gold coins. They are designed not only for supervisors and managers to give out, but also for the line level personnel to share with their own peers. It's an easy and fun filled way to acknowledge someone for a job well done. I love these coins!

I give coins to people to stimulate team mentality and promote individual effort. People love being "upgraded" from the silver coins to the Gold coins.
I like that the silver and gold coins are now the same size.
My institution does NOT have a program, so when people ask me what to "save and redeem" means, I just tell them that they should redeem for good actions.
