Monthly Team Player Recognition Receives Positive Staff Feedback

"On monthly meetings we recognize one staff member as the team player of the month and a lapel pin is given which he/she can wear with the ID. I've been doing this for 6 months now, and so far the award has caught the recipient unaware and surprised. The effect is awesome! You can see actions are repeated and done better. Thus awardees influence other staff to be a team player, too. Aside from the lapel pin, a certificate is given with the hospital logo, and a copy is kept in the employee’s file. I plan to do more recognition in the coming year since the feedback from staff is so positive."
