Recognition Coins make Change Outside the Workplace

"I received two complimentary Thank U Cheerful Change™ recognition coins in a package from you a few weeks back. Even though I have seen them in your catalog, I had never given them a second glance. For a long time I had them laying on my desk and then one day put them in the pocket of my photographer's vest on a whim.

A couple of days later we were in downtown Detroit shooting video of a woman who will be receiving an award for her work toward Affordable Housing. We filmed in the lobby of a 1920s building she helped renovate for affordable housing. The residents were so interested and excited, and two of the men helped me carry our heavy and voluminous video equipment to the car. A thought flashed through my head and I reached in my pocket and retrieved the two Thank U recognition coins and handed one to each of them. At first they refused because they though it was money but when I said - "No, read them, it isn't money." They beamed and went off talking to one another.

We were not done yet because we still had to take photographs of the outside of the building. When we were photographing the front door, I saw the two men showing the recognition coins to many residents, and they were all so interested. Then the building manager came out and thanked me for the recognition coins saying how they had so brightened and brought happiness to the men.

Anyway, thought you would like to know what a positive thing these recognition coins are. And that is what motivated me to order some. I hope they keep having the same effect."
