Local Companies Team Up to Improve Employee Morale and Engagement at Healthcare Organization

Baudville recently partnered with Grand Rapids-based Leisure Living Management, which provides high quality senior lifestyle services throughout the state of Michigan, to improve the culture at an assisted living facility in St. Johns, Michigan.
“Grace Haven Assisted Living in St. Johns was struggling with low morale and poor attitudes from employees,” explains Lonna Blair, Human Resource Director for Leisure Living Management. “The staff knew something had to change, but they didn’t know what actions to take.”
Baudville partnered with Leisure Living Management to implement a strategic employee recognition program at Grace Haven. Working with management and staff, Baudville identified key areas for improvement and implemented a recognition program targeted to reinforce desired behaviors and achieve organizational goals.
“The results have been remarkable,” said Blair. “Grace Haven has a new sense of teamwork and collaboration and morale has drastically improved.”
Baudville and Leisure Living will present the Grace Haven success story at a free lunch event on Thursday, March 31 at the Prince Conference Center at Calvin College. The presentation has been approved for general recertification credits from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).
